VIPS - THE ENHANCED EXPERIENCE
- The Display of Excellence. VIP ticket holders have exclusive access to a display of rare and historically significant watches from Melbourne's collectors. Featured timepieces include the Singer Reimagined, a vintage Rolex from the ‘60s, and a remarkable military piece from the ‘40s.
- Complimentary Food and Beverages. The Gospel Whiskey and Peroni enhance the experience of VIP guests by offering complimentary food, premium cocktails, and beer.
- Limited tickets. Only 80 VIP tickets are available. It’s not what you do but who you do it with.
- Exclusive giveaways. VIP ticket holders can win a stunning Venezianico timepiece and other exclusive prizes—no extra steps, you're automatically entered!
- Dual Watch Pouch. Every VIP ticket holder gets a premium Wristwatch Check dual watch pouch. Additional watch pouches can be purchased at the merch desk for $80.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Wear your best watch to win. At Wristwatch Check, we celebrate the unique stories behind each timepiece. Judges will select the best watch and story of the night, making this a true celebration of collectors and enthusiasts. So, don't forget to wear your most cherished watch and have fun sharing its story.
- Bid on a rare legacy watch. The Fox Legacy Watch was made from the engine of Lindsay Fox’s first truck, which launched the billion-dollar empire. This watch is a symbol of resilience, generosity, and Australian history.
ACTIVITIES
- Remarkable watch drawings. Renowned artist Jeesoo Kim will be on-site, demonstrating her breathtaking talent for hand-drawn watch art. She will also exhibit large-scale framed works and offer prints for sale.
- Live watch presentations. Discover the craft behind watch design with talks & demonstrations from leading brands.
- Historical watch and clock display. Presented by the Australian Antiquarian Horological Society, showcasing the evolution across the ages.
- The Automotive Wonderland - Curated by ArtNeun. Showcasing 15 rare and stunning cars positioned for the perfect viewing experience, creating a photographer’s paradise.
- Australian Car Industry Design Model Demonstration. This is a rare opportunity to witness the process behind automotive design. Some of Australia's best designers will showcase the art of hand-sculpting vehicles, using industrial processes to pen, shape and refine a car model just as in professional studios.
WORKSHOPS
- Car Photography Workshop. Learn how to capture breathtaking photos of cars with your phone. Join a group during golden hour as you walk through The Automotive Wonderland - Curated by ArtNeun. Learn to use light and composition to bring out the car’s beauty.
- Dare to Be Different Car Photography Workshop. If it rains, participants are given ponchos and led through The Automotive Wonderland - Curated by ArtNeun, where rain becomes a dynamic ingredient for stunning photography.
- The Gospel Whiskey Experience. Join a cocktail-making workshop and a whiskey-tasking workshop. Learn how to craft the perfect cocktail and refine your whiskey appreciation in two exclusive workshops led by Gospel Whiskey.
ENTERTAINMENT
- Grand Prix racing simulators. Test your skills on high-performance racing simulators and compete for the fastest lap—one winner will take home a watch.
- Formula 1 Photography Gallery. This is a tribute to the legendary John Toscano, showcasing a breathtaking selection of his finest Formula 1 images captured over four decades. This remarkable collection celebrates the sport's speed, precision, and drama.
- Live podcast interviews. Fifth Wrist Radio will be on-site, speaking with collectors and enthusiasts about the timepieces that matter most to them.
